handles receiving storing and dispatching stationery products performs inventory checks maintains a clean and organized warehouse picks and packs orders and assists with logistics to ensure a smooth supply chain for the store Responsibilities Receiving Storing Goods Unload incoming shipments inspect products for damage and store items in their designated locations within the warehouse Inventory Management Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain accurate stock records identifying and reporting any discrepancies or losses Order Picking Packing Retrieve items from storage to fill customer or store orders then carefully pack them for shipment or pickup Warehouse Organization Maintain a clean safe and well-organized warehouse arranging products and optimizing storage space Equipment Operation Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or other material handling machinery as needed Order Processing Process paperwork related to shipments and inventory including data entry of incoming and outgoing merchandise Stock Rotation Manage stock rotation procedures to ensure older items are used before newer ones preventing spoilage or obsolescence Organizational Skills Excellent organizational skills are necessary for managing inventory and maintaining an organized workspace Attention to Detail A keen eye for detail is crucial for accurate inventory tracking and correct order fulfillment Computer Literacy Basic computer skills are required including proficiency with spreadsheets and potentially barcode scanning systems
