Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Senior Sales Engineer / Assistant Manager - Sales located in Ambattur. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to sales engineering, technical support, communication with clients, managing sales activities, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities - Manage sales operations across multiple states in South India to achieve assigned sales and profit targets. - Design and implement short- and long-term regional sales strategies aligned with company goals. - Conduct market analysis to identify trends, gather competitor intelligence, and evaluate growth opportunities. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and expand the customer base. - Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, quotation updates, project tracking reports, visit reports, and booking schedules. - Recommend product or service enhancements based on customer feedback and market needs. - Ensure professional and ethical execution of responsibilities in full compliance with company guidelines and policies (ROSS compliance). - Continuously identify improvement opportunities and set daily/weekly/monthly/yearly action plans to meet sales objectives. - Travel extensively within the assigned region to visit clients, attend meetings, and monitor market developments. Educational Qualifications - Must have - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline preferred). - Desirable : MBA - Proven experience in sales and business development, ideally in the pneumatic valves/ Panels or Transportation industry. - Experience - 4 to 8 yrs Technical & Soft skills required - Demonstrated success in previous sales roles. - Deep understanding of the sales cycle and ability to manage end-to-end sales processes. - Excellent communication skills – oral, written, telephone, and presentation. - Sound knowledge in pneumatic valves/ Panels preferably in Transportation industry. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - High proficiency in customer service and technical support. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships. - Effective in stress management, conflict resolution, and negotiation. - Leadership skills with the ability to influence and close deals. - Energetic, professional, reliable, flexible, positive, and diligent.
