Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cloud-native applications and microservices using Python and FastAPI (or similar frameworks).

Implement and optimize APIs, worker services, and event-driven systems.

Work with Kafka (Confluent) for real-time data streaming and processing.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and support CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent).

Deploy and manage applications using Docker and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.

Work with cloud platforms (GCP / AWS / Azure) including services such as Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, or equivalent.

Integrate and support monitoring and observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring).

Ensure high code quality through unit testing frameworks (Pytest/unittest), code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.

Implement caching solutions (Redis) and handle data transformations (XML/XSD, XSLT).

Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and team members to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

Required Skills

Strong programming expertise in Python.

Experience with FastAPI (or equivalent frameworks like Flask/Django).

Good understanding of Async I/O and Pydantic.

Hands-on experience with Docker, Kafka (Confluent), and Terraform.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git/GitHub).

Practical experience with cloud services (preferably GCP, but AWS/Azure acceptable).

Familiarity with monitoring/logging solutions (New Relic or similar).

Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching (Redis).

- Knowledge of XML/XSD processing, XSLT transformations.
