Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding ocean freight shipments.
- Provide timely updates on shipment status, address queries, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
- Coordinate with customers to understand their shipping requirements and offer tailored solutions.
- Handle end-to-end operational activities for ocean freight shipments, including booking, documentation, and coordination with carriers, customs, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customs clearance, and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, last-mile delivery, etc.) to ensure seamless execution.
- Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Implement best practices in ocean freight operations and client servicing.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, customer communications, and operational data.
- Generate reports on key operational metrics, shipment statuses, and customer feedback.
- Handle escalations related to shipment issues and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve them promptly.
- Provide insights and recommendations to prevent recurring operationalissues.
