Job Description Key Responsibilities - Meet with clients to understand their style preferences, body types, and lifestyle needs. - Assess their current wardrobe and make recommendations based on personality, budget, and trends. - Provide guidance on colors, patterns, and styles that suit the client's appearance. - Suggest appropriate outfits for various occasions (e.g., casual, business, formal, special events). - Assist clients in shopping for new clothing and accessories that align with their style and budget. - Plan wardrobe upgrades, seasonal looks, and must-have essentials to create a versatile collection. - Keep clients updated on the latest trends, emerging brands, and seasonal collections. - Attend fashion shows, exhibitions, and trade events to stay ahead of trends. - Maintain in-depth knowledge of fashion brands, product offerings, and industry movements. - Collaborate with designers, stylists, and retailers to recommend relevant products to clients. - Create lookbooks, mood boards, or outfit suggestions. - Collaborate on social media or blog posts featuring styling tips and fashion insights. - Build long-term relationships with clients, understanding their evolving tastes and preferences. - Offer personalized service and maintain follow-ups on style feedback and satisfaction. Requirements - Fashion Expertise: Strong knowledge of fashion trends, colors, and fabrics. - Communication Skills: Ability to convey style ideas effectively to clients. - Creativity and Vision: Keen eye for details and ability to curate visually appealing outfits. - Client Focused: Passion for helping clients look their best, with a focus on customer satisfaction. - Sales Skills (for retail environments): Persuasive and able to influence buying decisions. - Relevant Experience: Background in fashion design, styling, retail, or fashion consulting is preferred. - Degree or certification in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field (though hands-on experience can often be just as valuable). Work Environment Retail stores, boutiques, personal styling, or fashion consultancy agencies. It may also involve travel for shopping, fashion events, or client meetings.
