Job Description - Develop and implement category strategies to achieve business objectives. - Analyse market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for category growth. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals. - Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to optimise product offerings and pricing. - Monitor category performance and provide actionable insights to improve sales and profitability. - Manage product life cycle, including introductions, promotions, and discontinuations. - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all category management activities. - Lead and mentor a team to drive innovation and excellence in category management. The Successful Applicant A successful Category Head should have: - MBA from top tier universities, MBB experience preferred. - Proven expertise in the strategy & growth roles. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions. - Excellent negotiation and communication abilities to work effectively with vendors and stakeholders. - Leadership experience to manage and inspire a team towards achieving goals. - A results-oriented mindset with a focus on growth and profitability. - Knowledge of market trends and consumer behaviour in the consumer tech industry.
