Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional who has prior work experience in a Chartered Accountant’s firm and possesses a solid understanding of accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance. The candidate will handle end-to-end compliance tasks including account finalisation, GST, TDS, and related statutory matters.

Accounts

- Preparation and finalisation of accounts for proprietorships, partnerships, and companies

- Assisting in statutory audits and tax audits

GST Compliance

- Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B

- Performing GST reconciliation of GSTR-2B with books of accounts

- Preparing GST working for monthly/quarterly returns

TDS Compliance

- Preparation and filing of TDS Returns

- Preparing working for TDS deduction and deposit

- Handling TDS mismatch and related queries

Income Tax

- Filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and companies

- Assisting in preparation of tax computations

Registrations

- Basic knowledge and support for GST, PAN, TAN, Professional Tax registrations and amendments

Other

- Coordinating with clients for data and documents

- Maintaining proper records and ensuring timely filings

- Assisting seniors in advisory and litigation matters as required

Desired Candidate Profile

- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with a Chartered Accountant’s firm
- Hands-on experience in Accounts Finalisation, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B filing, and GST reconciliation (GSTR-2B with books)
- Working knowledge of TDS returns, ITR filing, and basic registrations under various statutes (GST, PAN, TAN, Professional Tax)
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/Accounting software, and government e-filing portals
- Good understanding of Indian accounting and taxation concepts
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and adherence to timelines
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Qualification

- B.Com/M.Com/Inter CA or equivalent
- Additional certifications in GST or Taxation will be an advantage

Compensation

- Competitive salary as per industry standards, based on experience and skillset

Work Timings

- Full-time (Monday to Saturday)
- Office Location: Charni Road, Mumbai
