Job PurposeThe Accounts Payable professional is responsible for managing and processing invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and providing support for month-end closing and auditsKey Responsibilities- Manage and accurate and timely processing of Invoice in ERP. - Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices - Sort, GST code and match invoices - Set invoices up for payment to vendor - Enter and upload invoices into ERP system - Track expenses and process expense reports - Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments - Prepare and perform check runs - Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records - Reconcile accounts payable transactions - Prepare analysis of accounts - Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date - Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues - Maintain vendor reconciliation files - Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries - Produce monthly reports as required by seniors (MIS) - Assist with month end closing - Provide supporting documentation for audits - Maintain accurate historical records - Maintain confidentiality of organizational information. - Knowledge of TDS deduction, online payment of TDS, E-filing return etc. - Knowledge of GST and GST Return filing and maintain due date of return filing. - Ledger ScrutinyKey Performance Indicator- Timeliness of invoice processing - Accuracy of payments - Vendor satisfaction - Compliance with accounting regulations - Quality of monthly reports - Timeliness of tax compliance (TDS and GST) - Accuracy of account reconciliationQualification- Bachelor's degree in commerce.Knowledge- Knowledge of accounts payable - Knowledge of general accounting procedures - Knowledge of relevant accounting software (Preferred – far vision ERP) - Proficient in data entry and managementSkills- Data entry and management - Organizing and prioritizing - Attention to detail and accuracy - Communication skills - Problem analysis and problem-solving skillsExperience- 5 to 8 years in accounts payable or general accounting. - Real Estate Industry Experience is a Must
