About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing Accounts Sales Manager with proven expertise in solution sales for the automotive industry , particularly with strong knowledge in semiconductors, chips, and automotive electronic components . The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing key client accounts , driving business growth , and positioning our solutions to meet the evolving needs of the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end solution sales for automotive clients, focusing on semiconductors, chips, and electronic components.
Manage and expand strategic customer accounts by developing strong, long-term business relationships.
Identify new business opportunities and work closely with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and automotive technology companies .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, R&D, delivery) to provide customized solutions that address client requirements.
Negotiate and close deals with a focus on value-based selling .
Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to advise clients and strengthen sales strategies .
Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives .
Desired Candidate Profile
10 – 15 years of experience in B2B solution sales , preferably in the automotive electronics/semiconductor industry .
Strong technical understanding of semiconductors, chips, and related automotive technologies .
Excellent client-facing, communication, and relationship management skills.
Proven track record in closing large accounts and achieving revenue growth.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
Based in Chennai or willing to relocate.
