Job Description Primary Title: Production Supervisor (best-performing standardized title) About The Opportunity A fast-moving manufacturing employer in the industrial production sector, operating large-scale assembly and fabrication lines across India. We deliver high-volume precision products to B2B customers and focus on reliable production, regulatory quality, and continuous improvement. On-site role based in India, responsible for supervising day-to-day shop-floor operations and driving production targets. Role & Responsibilities - Manage and supervise daily shop-floor operations to meet production schedules, quality targets, and on-time shipments. - Plan and allocate resources across shiftscoordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to optimise throughput. - Drive Lean and 5S initiatives; identify waste, lead Kaizen events, and implement process improvements to raise productivity. - Ensure adherence to quality standards and ISO procedures; lead first-pass yield improvement and non-conformance resolution. - Perform root cause analysis for production issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain production SOPs and records. - Enforce HSE and shop-floor safety protocols; conduct daily briefings, audits, and incident reporting to maintain a safe work environment. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have - Production Planning - Shop Floor Management - Lean Manufacturing - 5S - Root Cause Analysis - Quality Management Systems(ISO9001) Preferred - SAP PP or MRP system experience - Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) - Kaizen facilitation Qualifications & Experience - Diploma/Graduate in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or related discipline preferred. - Proven experience supervising manufacturing or factory operations in an on-site production environment. - Experience implementing continuous improvement and quality systems; familiarity with ISO standards and health & safety regulations.
