Job Description We are seeking a talented an accomplished Talent Acquisition Leader to join the Marsh McLennan Leadership Team to spearhead the function across the India region. The role will be based in Mumbai. This hybrid role requires at least three days a week in the office and reports to the Global Talent Acquisition Leader. This pivotal leadership role carries full accountability for driving the strategy, execution, and operational excellence of a sizable and high-performing team of recruiting professionals. In this highly visible role, you will report to the will interact with senior leaders globally as well as hiring managers with dispersed teams across India. We will count on you to: - Develop and execute strategic talent acquisition initiatives in close collaboration with business leaders to enhance the employer brand and ensure a robust pipeline of qualified candidates, optimizing staffing levels to meet business objectives. - Provide visionary leadership to the Talent Acquisition team, driving the successful implementation of recruiting strategies, gathering competitive market intelligence, and delivering an exceptional experience for both candidates and Hiring Managers. - Own resource management and capacity planning to maximize team productivity, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while supporting team members on high-volume or complex assignments. - Maintain comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations across multiple countries to ensure all recruitment activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards. - Design and implement advanced dashboard reporting to track and analyze the productivity and performance of the India region Talent Acquisition team, supporting data-driven business planning and decision-making. - Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team by fostering individual development through tailored growth plans, continuous skill enhancement, and timely, constructive performance feedback. - Drive and manage high impact recruiting projects that directly contribute to business growth and organizational success. - Represent the India region in global Talent Acquisition initiatives, ensuring alignment of local requirements with broader company objectives and best practices. - Cultivate and sustain strong, collaborative partnerships with Business Leaders and HR Business Partners to align talent acquisition strategies with evolving business needs. - Deliver measurable results against key performance indicators, including cost per hire, data accuracy, time-to-fill, candidate quality and diversity, process compliance, and overall satisfaction of candidates and stakeholders. What you need to have: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline. - Extensive and proven experience in Talent Acquisition, with a strong track record of success. - Significant leadership experience within professional services or the financial industry, demonstrating the ability to develop and execute effective talent strategies that drive organizational growth. - Proven expertise in managing remote recruitment teams across the India region, ensuring alignment and high performance. - Strong business acumen coupled with unwavering ethical standards, with demonstrated capability to lead and manage Global Talent Acquisition functions effectively. - Exceptional client-facing and presentation skills, with the personal presence, communication proficiency, and credibility required to influence and engage senior enterprise leadership. - Demonstrated leadership excellence in building and guiding high-performing teams, with a strategic focus on attracting and retaining top-tier talent. - Experience managing organizations of up to 30 team members, balancing operational oversight with strategic leadership. - Ability to operate effectively at scale while maintaining a hands-on approach to corporate recruitment, including senior leadership hiring. - Proven success leveraging technology solutions, including Workday, to enhance recruitment processes and outcomes. - Strong background in senior corporate roles within global multinational corporations, with a deep understanding of complex organizational dynamics and global talent needs What makes you stand out: - Strategic Leadership.
