Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to handle both procurement and inventory management functions. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely purchase of materials, maintaining optimal stock levels, vendor coordination, and accurate inventory tracking to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase Management
• Identify reliable vendors and suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate terms.
• Raise purchase orders, follow-up for timely delivery, and maintain purchase records.
• Ensure procurement of materials at competitive prices without compromising quality.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
Inventory Management
• Monitor stock levels, maintain minimum–maximum stock, and prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Conduct regular physical verification of inventory and reconcile with system records.
• Maintain records of inward/outward material movement and ensure accuracy in inventory software/ERP.
• Coordinate with accounts for GRN (Goods Receipt Note), invoices, and payment processing.
Compliance & Reporting
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and statutory compliances.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports on purchases, stock status, and consumption trends.
• Highlight slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend corrective actions.
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Having Knowledge of Purchase and Inventory Management
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with GST, billing, and logistics documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Location & Working Conditions
• Location: Goa
• Full-time, office-based role.
• Requires coordination with vendors, accounts, and operations teams.
