Digital Transformation Lead

The Opportunity As a Digital Transformation Lead you will be responsible for driving strategic transformation initiatives across Avantor Business Centers ABCs with a strong focus on process optimization technology enablement and operational excellence You will lead the end-to-end digital transformation of business processes identify opportunities for innovation and ensure alignment with business objectives to deliver measurable value A key outcome of this role is to enhance the digital maturity of business processes across the businesses MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Listed in order of importance Lead the strategic planning and execution of digital transformation initiatives to drive operational excellence efficiency and innovation across the organization Collaborate with functional stakeholders and business units to identify digital opportunities and develop transformation roadmaps aligned with Project business goals Oversee end-to-end project delivery of digital initiatives ensuring timely execution risk management and ROI realization using agile methodologies Evaluate and implement emerging technologies such as automation AI ML advanced analytics and solutions designs to Digitize processes and systems Drive cultural change by promoting a digital-first mindset across the organization and enabling cross-functional collaboration Define KPIs and success metrics to track progress of transformation efforts and ensure measurable outcomes Manage stakeholder engagement including regular communication change management and governance to ensure smooth adoption of Digital initiatives Coordinate with IT operations and external partners to ensure alignment of digital strategies with technical capabilities Champion user-centric design and customer experience improvements across digital platforms and touchpoints Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to continually evolve the organization s digital capabilities Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of supported applications and systems Utilize tools such as ServiceNow JIRA and others for tracking monitoring and reporting QUALIFICATIONS Education Training Experience and Certifications Bachelor s degree in Business Information Technology Computer Science or a related field Master s preferred 8 years of experience in digital transformation IT strategy or innovation lead roles Proven track record of successfully leading complex medium enterprise level digital initiatives Strong understanding of digital technologies including RPA AI ML cloud platforms ERP CRM systems and data analytics Experience in change management agile project delivery and cross-functional team leadership Excellent communication stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills Working knowledge of RDBMS and scripting e g Python experience with RPA tools like UiPath or Automation Anywhere is a must KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong business acumen and the ability to align technology initiatives with business outcomes Visionary thinking with practical execution ability Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision making Ability to influence stakeholders leaders and foster collaboration across diverse teams Deep understanding of digital ecosystems innovation frameworks and transformation governance Ability to manage multiple projects priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives Familiarity with systems validation change control and compliance standards Strategic thinking with a hands-on Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level Work assignments are diversified Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on a routine basis Minimal physical effort is required Work is
