Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Executive to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and analyze data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate should possess advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, along with a strong understanding of databases and information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain MIS reports utilizing Excel, Google Sheets, and other reporting tools.
- Analyze complex data sets to generate meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Create dashboards and data visualizations to present key findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with departments to understand data requirements and improve data quality.
- Identify trends and opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis.
- Monitor data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from various teams.
- Automate repetitive tasks using macros or scripts to improve efficiency.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of information systems and databases.
- Train and support users on data tools and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as an MIS Analyst or similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL knowledge is a plus).
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in relevant data analysis or database management fields.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
