Sales Executive – Cybersecurity VAPT

JOB LOCATION: - Pune, Maharashtra JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our cybersecurity sales team focused on Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and Security Operations solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling cybersecurity or network firewall solutions, paired with an MBA from a reputed institution. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, deep product knowledge, and the ability to drive sales growth in a competitive landscape. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities within the cybersecurity and network security domains, focusing on VAPT and Security Operations. - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering consultative sales engagements that align solutions to customer cybersecurity needs. - Collaborate closely with technical teams to understand client requirements and provide tailored cybersecurity solutions. - Present product demonstrations, proposals, and ROI analyses to C-level executives and decision-makers. - Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and competitive landscape in cybersecurity and related fields. - Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management. - Attend industry conferences, webinars, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: - MBA from a reputed college or university. - Minimum 2 years of experience selling cybersecurity solutions, VAPT services, or network firewall products. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B technology environment. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, threat detection, and security operations. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics software. DESIRED SKILLS: - Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards. - Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems. - Technical aptitude to effectively communicate with security engineers and IT professionals. - Strong problem-solving mindset and customer-centric approach.
