This Position reports to:

Digital Solution Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role as a Digital Solution Engineering Specialist for APC, you will have the opportunity for development & successful implementation of Advance Process Control (APC) solutions for various Process Industries as Cement, Metals, Mining, Pulp & Paper. Each day, you will support the adoption of digital solutions into the customer business environment along with their subsequent operations and maintenance.

The work model for the role is: #LI Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Process Industries Division in Bangalore .

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Work on end-to-end APC projects for Cement, Metals, Mining & Pulp and paper industries.
- Carry out independently activities of basic and detailed engineering of APC solutions.
- Carry out Engineering and commissioning of APC Product for these process plants
- Study of process operation and process control requirements and definition of suitable simple, complex and advanced regulatory control strategies to be implemented at DCS.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

- B. Tech/ B.E from a reputed University with First Class in Chemical engineering
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in APC implementation.
- Experience in Advance Process Control Technology and Automation principles
- In depth understanding of Cement or Mining process
- Basics of Control System & OPC Communication with PLC/DCS
- Availability to travel for either short or long term assignment (50 % to 60 % travel )
