Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Architect located in Mumbai. The Architect will be responsible for developing concept designs, preparing working drawings, coordinating with consultants and site teams, and ensuring compliance with regulations and project goals. The role also involves client interfacing, site coordination, and contributing to the creative vision of architectural and interior environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural planning, concept development, and design presentations

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, working drawings, and BOQs

Ensure designs are compliant with building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Coordinate with consultants including structural, MEP, landscape and interior team

Collaborate with interior designers, contractors, vendors, and client representatives

Conduct regular site visits to review progress and troubleshoot on-site issues

Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and project costing

Maintain project timelines, deliverables, and design integrity from start to finish

Research materials, finishes, construction methods, and innovations in architecture

Qualifications

Expert in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and working drawing production

Proficiency in Revit is a strong plus

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Understanding of local bye-laws, NBC norms, and building permissions

Strong visualization skills; experience with V-Ray/Lumion/Enscape

Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and visual

Experience in site and project execution

Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience

Bachelor's degree in architecture from a recognized institution
