Position : Service Engineer Qualification : Diploma Electrical / Electronics Experience : 1-2 Years Knowledge : PLC, VFD & SCADA Job Location : Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) Job Profile : Providing Service to Clients PAN India Additional : Computer Handy, Good Communication Salary: 15K Fixed + 5K Target (x Orders)Key Responsibilities 1. Installation & Commissioning Install and commission PLC, VFD, and SCADA systems at client sites. Configure automation systems as per project specifications. Ensure proper system integration with sensors, drives, control panels, and industrial equipment. Conduct functional testing of hardware and software to verify successful setup. 2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation systems. Diagnose and resolve technical issues in PLC programming, VFD operations, and SCADA configurations. Replace or repair faulty components, wiring, and hardware. Conduct regular inspections to ensure minimal downtime and maximum system efficiency. 3. Technical Support & Service Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to clients. Respond to service requests and ensure timely resolution of equipment failures. Offer guidance to clients on system usage, safety practices, and preventive measures. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for spare parts procurement and replacements. 4. Programming & Configuration Develop, modify, and debug PLC programs based on project requirements. Configure VFD parameters to optimize performance and energy efficiency. Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, field devices, and communication protocols. Implement automation logic to improve process efficiency and reduce downtime. 5. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective service delivery. Conduct training sessions for clients’ technical staff on system operations. Provide post-installation support and after-sales services. Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing concerns proactively. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed records of service reports, equipment logs, and maintenance schedules. Document PLC programming changes, configuration settings, and hardware modifications. Prepare regular service reports for management and clients. Track warranty claims and ensure compliance with service agreements. Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills In-depth knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Schneider, etc.). Expertise in VFD installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with SCADA systems, HMI interfaces, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP). Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control panels, and instrumentation. Familiarity with industrial automation tools, sensors, actuators, and drives. Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests. Strong time management and organizational skills.
