Job Description Company Overview Microsite Studio is a creative and digital solutions agency helping startups and small businesses strengthen their digital presence through strategic design, branding, and marketing. Guided by our vision Ideas into Impact we create accessible, growth-focused digital strategies tailored for modern businesses. We are expanding our outreach team to connect with more clients who align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and are seeking enthusiastic, communication-driven interns to join us as part of our Business Development & Outreach program. Position Overview The Business Development & Outreach Intern will play a critical role in converting qualified leads into clients by engaging with prospects through calls, messages, and social media interactions. Working closely with the Strategy and Growth team, you will bridge the gap between research and sales turning insights into meaningful client conversations. This is a remote, commission-based internship that provides practical exposure to client communication, business development, and sales strategy within the digital services sector. Key Responsibilities - Reach out to potential clients identified through Microsite Studio's verified lead sheets and Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). - Conduct cold calls, direct messages, and follow-ups via channels such as Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and email. - Engage prospects professionally to communicate MicroSite Studio's offerings and value proposition. - Qualify leads and identify potential clients ready for proposal or closure. - Maintain accurate outreach records in shared tracking sheets or CRM tools. - Collaborate with the strategy team to refine outreach scripts, responses, and sales approaches. - Provide weekly performance reports, including number of calls made, responses received, and deals in progress. - Support the handover of warm leads to the internal sales/strategy lead for deal finalization. Compensation Structure - Commission-Based: 30% of the total project value closed through your outreach. - Commissions will be disbursed within 7 working days of client payment confirmation. - No fixed stipend is offered for this internship. - Certificates and performance-based recommendations will be provided upon successful completion. Learning Outcomes By the end of this internship, you will: - Gain practical experience in business development, cold outreach, and client acquisition. - Develop strong communication and negotiation skills. - Learn to identify, approach, and convert business prospects effectively. - Understand the structure and workflow of digital marketing agencies. - Build measurable achievements through real-world sales results. Eligibility Criteria - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Confidence in initiating conversations and handling client queries. - Strong sense of responsibility, persistence, and professionalism. - Ability to work independently and meet outreach targets. - Students or recent graduates from Business, Marketing, Communication, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply. Internship Details - Type: Remote Internship - Duration: 2 Months (extendable based on performance) - Working Hours: Flexible; expected 2025 hours per week - Reporting To: Growth and Marketing, Microsite Studio - Compensation: Commission-Based (No Fixed Stipend), Performance Bonus
