Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the structuring, execution, and closing of capital market transactions, including equity offerings, debt issuances, and syndicated loans. - Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and deal structuring for public and private capital raises. - Monitor financial markets and provide regular updates on trends, interest rates, credit spreads, and macroeconomic indicators. - Prepare pitch books, investor presentations, and internal reports for stakeholders. - Coordinate with legal, compliance, underwriting, and operations teams to support transaction execution. - Conduct due diligence, research industry sectors, and maintain databases of market activity. - Support strategic funding initiatives and capital planning processes. - Track regulatory developments impacting capital markets (e.g., SEC, FINRA, Basel III). Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. - 13 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, or corporate finance. - Strong knowledge of financial instruments (equities, bonds, derivatives) and capital raising processes. - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling. - Strong research, analytical, and quantitative skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Desirable Skills: - Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or Refinitiv (Thomson Reuters). - Progress toward CFA or MBA (a plus). - Familiarity with underwriting processes, SEC filings, and capital structure analysis. - Understanding of global market trends and cross-border capital flows.
