Job Description
As an Analyst in the ECM Team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to -
Performing due diligence including valuation analysis for primary, secondary, and other equity offerings with a primary focus on India equityBuild and maintain company financial models and perform sound valuation analysis based on Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) & Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DHRP) in a timely mannerRepresent us at meetings with corporate management teams and sell-side syndicate desks with a goal to developing relationships to secure desired allocations in the book building processInteracting with sell-side sales and research contactsWork with India VC team to evaluate late-stage opportunities and build a pipeline of late-stage relationships that would be useful at the time of book buildingProviding insights to VC team on how public market would value our investment on exitAssist in facilitating block trades in our public companies positions after lock upThe Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate -
10+ years of relevant experience analysing securities (Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, Equity Research Associate, Buy Side Analyst or similar), with significant experience working on capital markets transactionsDemonstrated experience reviewing Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) & Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DHRP) with the ability to obtain reliable valuation analysis to inform investment strategiesStrong numerical and modelling skills and well-versed in financial concepts such as financial statement analysis, accounting, valuation techniques and financial modellingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExisting relationships with IB/ECM desk are preferredSelf-motivated with a passion in equity research and a willingness to learnIntellectually curious and well networked-
