Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Citrix Administrator with 5 to 8 years of experience in managing and maintaining Citrix environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Citrix architecture, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix ADC (formerly NetScaler). In addition, experience with Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is essential as a secondary skill to support hybrid or cloud-based virtual environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage Citrix infrastructure including Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix ADC.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Citrix environments, ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
Manage Citrix policies, profiles, and group policies to support a scalable virtual desktop environment.
Perform capacity planning, patching, and upgrades of Citrix environments.
Configure and support Azure VDI solutions, integrating Citrix with Microsoft Azure to provide a seamless virtual desktop experience.
Collaborate with network, server, and storage teams to ensure efficient and secure Citrix services.
Provide level 2/3 support for Citrix-related issues, working closely with service desk teams to resolve escalated incidents.
Automation and scripting of Citrix-related tasks using PowerShell or similar tools.
Support the migration and integration of on-premise Citrix environments to cloud (Azure) as necessary.
Document configuration, processes, and procedures for maintaining Citrix environments and creating knowledge base articles.

Required Skills and Experience:

5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Citrix administration.
Strong experience in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop installation, configuration, and support.
Experience with Citrix ADC (NetScaler) for load balancing and application delivery.
Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or Azure VDI deployment and support.
Strong troubleshooting skills related to Citrix and cloud-based virtual desktops.
Proficient with PowerShell scripting for automation in Citrix and Azure environments.
Experience with profile management, user profile optimization, and group policies in Citrix.
Working knowledge of networking, storage, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
Knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory (AD).

Preferred Qualifications:

Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V) or Citrix Certified Expert (CCE-V) certifications.
Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
Experience with Citrix Cloud.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools.
