The Role

- Use ERP system Microsoft dynamics (MSD) to plan production activities.

- Review parts availability in MSD including follow-up on daily purchasing requirements, expediting, and past due purchase orders.

- Provide forecast for part requirements to suppliers.

- Provide feedback to the production team concerning parts availability and shortages.

- Work with Stores to resolve purchase order receipt discrepancies.

- Work with sourcing team on inventory reduction initiatives.

- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

- Procure Material in a Just-in-Time flow - 0 Production loss due to Material missing

- Supplier interaction (PO transaction, supplier workload, Chasing parts)

- Release daily PO in time for material required, & monitor them by daily routine

- IT transactions with accuracy, allowing inventory accuracy

- Chase vendors material shortages, and visit them whenever required

- Ensure on-time delivery of parts for New Product Launches

- Supplier performance monitoring & Escalation Management

- Analyze historical usage and inventory data to forecast future demand

- Close follow up on aging of inventory.
- Coordinate companies for sea/ air/ road transport, forwarder and other external agencies to achieve seamless flow of parts
- Transport Management - Material on-time and at the cheapest transport cost .
- Optimize transport routings for best transport resources utilization
- Respect IMS principal, and Atlas Copco Guidelines
- IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14000 & OHSAS) mandatory, legal & internal requirement fulfilment for manufacturing function.
- Hazard identification & risk assessment for Supply Chain.
- Define and measure KPIs related to supplier delivery performance, OTIF, missing components and other KPIs relevant to follow progress and improvements

- Perform other duties as assigned

What we expect of you

- Understanding of business issues related to the entire supply chain. Specific knowledge of raw materials, parts, and manufacturing processes.

- In depth understanding of MRP systems.

- Skill in IT tools: ERP (MSD), MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint, Power BI.

- Familiarity with material procurement in a lean manufacturing environment.

- Strong mathematical, analytical, and statistical skills.

- Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to multi-task.

- Individual and team interaction skills.

- Excellent time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and follow through to completion.

- Proven ability to achieve results. Personality Requirements:

- Team player with high collaboration ability.

- Comfortable working in demanding production environments.

- Well organized, action- and results-oriented.

- Strong business ethics with suppliers, adherence to the Business Code of Practice.

- Available for occasional supplier travel.

Experience / Educational Requirements:

- BE Mechanical/Electrical with knowledge of Supply Chain, Business, or Logistics.
- 3+ years of supply chain experience with proven track record.
- Exposure to international business environments and large companies.
- Fluent in English.
