You will be working as Material Planner and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Planning & Fulfillment Manager and will be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory including sales in excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Translating projected forecasts, incoming volume and working scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule
- Working with customer service to provide appropriate delivery dates and material planners to convert the Supply Plan into a master production schedule
- Providing input to finance on operating plans for the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, concerning incoming volume and capacity
- Calculating and maintaining the planning systems and the ERPs the inventory parameters
- Collaborating with Buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead-time and flexibility
- Working with Operations Buyers to align planning of material with call offs and ensures that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in material planning, production or capacity planning
- Working experience in SAP PP or MM is must
- Must have good planning or purchasing skills
- Must have good communication skills
