SITE ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES ORGANIZING MATERIALS AND ENSURING SITES ARE SAFE AND CLEAN PREPARING COST ESTIMATES AND ENSURING APPROPRIATE MATERIALS AND TOOLS ARE AVAILABLE PROVIDING TECHNICAL ADVICE AND SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT ON PARTICULAR PROJECTS DIAGNOSING AND TROUBLESHOOTING EQUIPMENT AS REQUIRED NEGOTIATING WITH SUPPLIERS AND VENDORS TO ENSURE THE BEST CONTRACTS AUTHORIZING TECHNICAL DRAWINGS AND ENGINEERING PLANS DRAWING UP WORK SCHEDULES AND COMMUNICATING ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO CREW MEMBERS AND CLIENTS GATHERING DATA COMPILING REPORTS AND DELIVERING PRESENTATIONS TO RELEVANT STAKEHOLDERS DELEGATING TASKS AND SCHEDULING MEETINGS AND TRAINING SESSIONS WHERE REQUIRED COMPLETING QUALITY ASSURANCE AND PROVIDING FEEDBACK TO THE TEAM SITE ENGINEER DUTIES - MANAGING PARTS OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS OVERSEEING BUILDING WORK UNDERTAKING SURVEYS SETTING OUT SITES SUPERVISING CONTRACTED STAFF ENSURING PROJECT PACKAGES MEET AGREED SPECIFICATIONS BUDGETS AND OR TIMESCALES LIAISING WITH CLIENTS SUBCONTRACTORS AND OTHER PROFESSIONAL STAFF ESPECIALLY QUANTITY SURVEYORS AND THE OVERALL PROJECT MANAGER PROVIDING TECHNICAL ADVICE AND SOLVING PROBLEMS ON SITE PREPARING SITE REPORTS AND FILLING IN OTHER PAPERWORK CHECKING TECHNICAL DESIGNS AND DRAWINGS TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE FOLLOWED CORRECTLY LIAISING WITH QUANTITY SURVEYORS ABOUT THE ORDERING AND THE PRICING OF MATERIALS MAINTAIN COMPLIANCE WITH SAFETY AND REGULATORY STANDARDS ALSO ENSURING THAT HEALTH AND SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY POLICIES AND LEGISLATION ARE ADHERED TO INSPECT FACILITIES AND ANALYZE OPERATIONAL DATA COMPILE ESTIMATES FOR TECHNICAL AND MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PROJECT DEVELOPMENT DETERMINE AND PRESENT ESTIMATES OF OPERATIONAL COSTS EVALUATE OPERATIONS AND PROCESSES SUGGEST PROCESS AND TECHNICAL DESIGN CHANGES TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE AND EFFICIENCY IMPLEMENT IMPROVEMENTS TO DESIGNS AND PROCESSES TEST MATERIAL AND STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY RESEARCH THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF PROJECTS INCORPORATE ECO-FRIENDLY AND SUSTAINABLE FEATURES INTO DESIGN PLANS CREATE GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATIONS OF PROPOSED SOLUTIONS PREPARE PROPOSAL DOCUMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS COMPILE AND PRESENT REPORTS EXPLAINING PROJECT DETAILS TO NON-TECHNICAL STAKEHOLDERS MONITOR PROJECT PROGRESS COMPLIANCE WITH DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS AND SAFETY STANDARDS DIRECT SITE SUPERVISOR AS WELL AS OTHER STAFF OR WORKERS ALL THE ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES ASSIGN TASKS AND PROVIDE TRAINING AND SUPPORT CREATE WORK SCHEDULES AND ADJUST AS NEEDED TO MEET PROJECT DEADLINES MAINTAIN DETAILED DOCUMENTATION OF ALL SITE ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES COLLABORATE WITH MANAGEMENT TO ALIGN ACTIVITIES WITH DESIRED BUSINESS OUTCOMES FULFILL THE ROLE OF MENTOR AS AND WHEN REQUIRED CONTINUALLY DEVELOP KNOWLEDGE OF INNOVATIVE CONSTRUCTION AND TECHNIQUE REVIEW ARCHITECT ENGINEER SERVICES SUB-CONTRACTOR DRAWING TO ENSURE COORDINATION AND INTEGRATION Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Work Location In person
