We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager , Data and Analytics Principal Responsibilities - Execute various analyses and develop strategies to support business decisions across the customer lifecycle for a particular product/market - Provide support for analytical/strategy projects. Complete analysis as required and document results and present findings to stakeholders - Execute moderate to complex analysis and strategy with proper instructions - Write efficient codes to process data for the required business problems. Ability to convert business problem to an analytical problem. - Identify business problems/new opportunities to drive higher business value. Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex analytical problems - Providing high-quality analysis and strategy recommendations to business problems. - Manage delivery within agreed timelines and as per agreed quality standards. Also drive business benefit through self-initiated projects - Learn new skills (domain / technical) and apply to solve business problems as required. Management Of Risk/Internal Controls/Compliance - The jobholder will continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology. - The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators. - The jobholder will implement the Group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer. The term compliance embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply. - This will be achieved by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures and by liaising with Compliance department about new business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Also and when applicable, by ensuring adequate resources are in place and training is provided, fostering a compliance culture and optimising relations with regulators. Qualifications - Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations is preferred - Knowledge of SAS, SQL, Python, Cloud Technologies, other equivalent analytical tools & platforms. - Good knowledge of Analytical and ML concepts like modelling, forecasting, segmentation etc - Besides strong written and verbal communication skills the incumbent is also expected to have strong presentation skills - Overall Analytics experience of atleast 2-4 years. Banking & Financial Services/Financial Crime domain knowledge is preferred. - Knowledge of SAS is necessary. Strong analytical & business acumen. - Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical (senior management in Group WPB) counterparts; flexibility in handling communication across various levels as a part of role.
