Role Overview
Were seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) with excellent communication skills and proven experience engaging with North American clients. This role will focus on generating new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects in our target market. You will be the first point of contact, introducing ThriveHubs value proposition and securing discovery calls with decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Research and identify potential clients in target segments (marketing agencies under 50 employees, D2C/eCommerce founders, B2B brands in North America).
- Build and maintain prospect lists using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, and other research tools.
Outreach & Engagement
- Execute personalized, multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, occasional calls) to decision-makers.
- Craft messaging that resonates with the North American markets tone, style, and cultural context.
Qualification & Scheduling
- Qualify leads based on fit, hiring needs, and budget readiness.
- Book meetings directly into the founders calendar, providing full context for smooth handover.
Pipeline & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM records (HubSpot or equivalent).
- Share weekly reports on outreach volume, meetings booked, and pipeline progress.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales or SDR experience in marketing services, outsourcing, or staffing.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills must be able to hold engaging, professional conversations with North American business owners.
- Demonstrated success in booking meetings or closing deals with North American clients.
- Familiarity with sales automation tools like Apollo, Clay, Smartlead, or Instantly.
- Proven ability to work independently, meet performance targets, and manage time effectively.
Preferred:
- Experience selling to marketing agencies or SMB founders in Canada and the US.
- Understanding of the marketing outsourcing/staff augmentation space.
KPIs & Success Metrics
- 5080 targeted outreach attempts/day.
- Minimum 58 qualified meetings booked per month.
- Consistent pipeline growth and accurate reporting.
