Every day Position Overview: As the AVP R&D Product (Nutraceuticals), you will lead the product development process of the new microbiome-based nutraceuticals and topicals. You will utilize market research data and consumer behavior trends to support new product ideas. You will be responsible for all stages of product development from inception to deployment. Your responsibilities: - Outline and execute product development strategy and roadmap - Identify new market opportunities and develop new product concepts to address customer and market demand - Manage vendors sourcing raw ingredients, contract manufacturing, and NPD - Identifying sources and partners of raw material ingredients and manufacturers - Actively search for products and vendors to support the development and pipeline of new products - Ensure timely development of bench-top prototypes, stability study, sensory, and scale-up for commercialization. - Create & manage timelines, budgets, and product development activities - Identify & review new ingredients, products, and technologies to determine scientific viability and applications - Make sure the product is compliant with various government standards - Identify achievements, failures & bottlenecks and present to management in a weekly review What You Need To Have: - Extreme ownership mindset - 5+ years of proven experience in the Nutraceutical supplements products industry. - Food Technology Background - Project management & data interpretation skills - Knowledge of domestic nutraceutical markets - Scientific acumen and familiarity with nutraceutical, microbiome-based ingredients, and raw materials - Knowledge of food science, process technology, and a good understanding of nutrition & food regulations - Talent for communicating, influencing, and problem-solving - Analytical thought process and excellent organizational skills - Will and ability to travel in India from time to time to manage production sites Please mail your CV to Divjyot.kaur@sova.health.
