Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Management Intern to join our dynamic SCM team. The intern will actively support procurement, vendor management, logistics, and reporting functions, gaining comprehensive exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in procurement activities including vendor identification, RFQ preparation, quotation analysis, and purchase order processing.
- Support vendor management through effective communication, follow-ups, and performance tracking.
- Coordinate with logistics service providers for inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring compliance with timelines and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supply chain records, reports, and MIS dashboards.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels, stock reconciliation, and material movement tracking.
- Work on ERP platforms (SAP S/4HANA MM Module) for procurement and reporting activities.
- Contribute to cost analysis, supplier evaluation, and decision-support exercises.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technical, Finance, and Projects to ensure alignment of SCM objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors/Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across teams.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a corporate environment.
