Job Title: Academic Mentor Location: Perumbavoor Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Academic Mentor to join our team in Perumbavoor. The Academic Mentor will play a vital role in supporting students throughout their academic journey, fostering personal growth, and strengthening collaboration between students, teachers, and parents. This position requires a student-centric mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for holistic development. Key Responsibilities 1. Student Mentorship & Development Build supportive and trusting relationships with a designated group of students. Provide mentorship and personalized guidance to help students achieve academic and personal goals. Plan and coordinate student activities, clubs, and enrichment programs. Address student concerns, minor behavioral issues, and conflicts in collaboration with teachers and counselors. 2. Academic Progress Monitoring Track and monitor students’ academic performance, attendance, and engagement. Conduct informal assessments to evaluate learning progress. Collaborate with teachers and counselors to create and implement individualized academic support or intervention plans. 3. Parent/Guardian Communication Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents/guardians about student performance and development. Participate in and organize parent-teacher meetings. Address parental concerns promptly and provide guidance to support learning at home. 4. Data Management & Reporting (MIS) Maintain accurate and confidential student records, including performance data, assessments, and behavior logs. Use MIS tools and educational software to generate reports and analyze student progress. Support internal reviews and decision-making through timely data reporting. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (Education or related field preferred). Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills. Ability to handle student concerns with empathy and professionalism. Basic understanding of MIS tools and reporting. Passion for student development and academic excellence. Work Location Perumbavoor
