Job Title: Academic Mentor – CMA (Cost and Management Accounting) Location: [Insert Location] Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Academics About the Role We are seeking a passionate and academically strong Academic Mentor (CMA) to guide and support students pursuing the Cost and Management Accounting program. The mentor will play a key role in student engagement, academic monitoring, and faculty coordination to ensure an effective and motivating learning environment. Key Responsibilities Mentor students enrolled in the CMA program and track their academic progress. Conduct regular follow-ups and counseling sessions to ensure students stay motivated and on track. Guide students in study techniques, time management, and exam preparation strategies. Monitor student attendance and participation in engagement and academic activities. Assist in preparing question papers, PPTs, and other academic materials. Coordinate with faculty to collect and organize study materials, ensuring timely submission. Support faculty in implementing academic initiatives and assessments. Conduct one-on-one or group counseling sessions to resolve academic challenges or concerns. Maintain accurate and updated student records and progress reports. Collaborate with content creation teams to ensure conceptual accuracy in academic materials. Research academic issues faced by students and faculty and propose effective solutions. Handle multiple academic and administrative tasks efficiently within deadlines. Requirements Qualification: Qualified or semi-qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) or equivalent. Strong knowledge of CMA syllabus, subjects, and exam pattern. Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or academic coordination preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and independently when needed. Willingness to multitask and contribute to various academic operations. Preferred Skills Experience in content development, curriculum planning, or student counseling. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with online learning tools. Detail-oriented, empathetic, and student-focused approach.
