Job Description: Area Sales Manager Offline Market (Nutraceuticals) Position Overview The Area Sales Manager (ASM) Offline Market is responsible for driving sales, expanding distribution, and building strong market presence for the company's nutraceutical products across assigned territories. This role requires strong experience in channel sales, distributor management, retail activation, and team leadership within the FMCG/Pharma/Nutraceutical sector. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Revenue Growth - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. - Drive primary and secondary sales across assigned geography. - Develop and execute territory-wise sales plans and strategies. 2. Distributor & Channel Management - Appoint, on-board, and manage retailers, cnfs, distributors and stockists. - Ensure optimal inventory planning, order punching, and timely payments. - Monitor distributor ROI and optimize channel profitability. 3. Retail & Field Operations - Expand retail coverage (chemists, wellness stores, general trade, specialty stores, gyms, etc.). - Conduct regular trade visits to ensure product availability and visibility. - Ensure merchandising, POP placement, and in-store promotions. 4. Team Leadership - Lead and manage a team of Sales Officers/Executives. - Conduct regular training on product knowledge, selling skills, and market execution. - Monitor field performance and ensure daily reporting discipline. 5. Market Intelligence - Track competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends. - Identify new business opportunities and recommend product placement strategies. - Provide regular MIS reports, field insights, and performance dashboards. 6. Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, influencers, wholesalers, and channel partners. - Support medical reps or nutrition outreach teams (if applicable). Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's degree - 48 years of field sales experience innutraceuticals, OTC, FMCG, or Pharma. - Strong knowledge of offline trade channels. - Experience in distributor and retail management is a must. Skills Required - Excellent negotiation & communication skills. - Strong leadership and people management abilities. - Proficiency with sales reporting tools and MS Office. - Target-driven, analytical, and self-motivated. - Ability to travel extensively.
