Job Title Admission Counselor About the Institution DPS Bathinda is a premier co-educational school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education Established in 2003 Delhi Public School Bathinda is a leading school in the city of Bathinda offering excellent education in a splendid campus spread over 13 acres Life in Delhi Public School centers on a shared commitment to academic excellence intellectual growth arts athletics high standards of ethical awareness sportsmanship and community service Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Student Counselor with a good understanding of handling addressing and resolving behavioral issue of students Responsibilities The Admission counselor in consultation with the principal is solely in charge of the Admissions carried on for all classes Attending to Visitors prospective parents regarding admission queries for both walk ins and telephonically spelling out the strengths of the institution Maintaining a data base of Prospectus sold conversions and admissions confirmed Connect with the school subject teachers for creation of grade appropriate admission tests in the different subjects Follow up on the correction of the papers with the teaching faculty thus maintaining a class wise list of selected candidates signed by the Principal Assigning Admission number and forwarding the class wise lists of selected candidates to the Accounts department for collection of fee Creating students files with the necessary documents as maintained by CBSE Maintaining e Punjab and UDISE portal Qualifications for Admissions Counselor Minimum of a Bachelor s degree in any related field Preference would be given to a Post Graduate or MBA At least 3 years experience as an Admission Counsellor in a school of repute College Educational institute Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word Excel and PowerPoint Strong communication listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver information effectively and persuasively A pleasing approachable and friendly personality Highly organized with a distinct propensity for timelines and professionalism Personal Traits Required Professional Proactive and Self-initiator Excellent interpersonal skills Keen to strive for career excellence Good communication skills Selection Process Personal Interview Job Type Full-time Benefits Provident Fund Ability to commute relocate Bathinda Punjab Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Location Bathinda Punjab Required Work Location In person
