Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities Lead the civil and structural design and engineering activities for power plant projects Provide technical expertise and guidance on construction methodologies and materials Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met Oversee the preparation of project budgets schedules and resource allocation Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards Manage contractor relationships and monitor project progress Resolve any design or construction issues that may arise during the project lifecycle Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to uphold project quality Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to senior management Mentor and coach junior team members to foster professional development Technical Skills Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS STAAD Pro Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles and practices Knowledge of construction codes and standards applicable to the energy sector Experience with project management tools and software Non-Negotiable Skills Proven experience in managing civil and structural projects in the Power Energy industry Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects successfully Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Qualifications Education Qualification Bachelor s or master s degree in civil Mechanical engineering or related field Experience 12-15 years of experience in Civil Structural engineering Prior experience in the Power Energy industry is essential Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale projects Proven track record of delivering projects within budget and timelines
