Key Responsibilities As a Supplier Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain meets the high standards required for aerospace applications. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Supplier Onboarding: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they meet our quality and compliance standards. 2. Contract and Agreement Management: Negotiate and formalize supplier agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), to protect company interests. 3. Supplier Evaluation and Qualification: Assess supplier capabilities, certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100), and performance to ensure alignment with aerospace industry standards. 4. Compliance Verification: Ensure suppliers match regulatory requirements and provide materials that meet space-grade specifications. 5. Performance Monitoring: Regularly review supplier performance metrics, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance. 6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and procurement teams to align supplier capabilities with project needs. Requirements ● Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. ● Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or a related role, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry. ● Familiarity with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100. ● Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. ● Ability to analyse supplier data and make informed decisions. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems Desired Skills ● Knowledge of space-grade materials and components. ● Experience with supplier audits and performance improvement initiatives. ● Understanding of regulatory requirements in the aerospace industry.
