Job Description

- Complete front end, preliminary & detailed design of infrastructure engineering packages.
- Produce engineering documents such asdesign reports, cost estimatesandconstruction specifications
- Consultswith andprovides guidancetoproject stakeholdersandmanagerial staffregarding Engineering requirements ofconstruction of variousdesigns, modifications and structural repairs.
- Uses design software and drawing tools to accurately render and communicate designs of Civil structures.
- Assess strength offoundations, concreteorsteelby testing materials and soil.
- Plans projects basedon theanalysisofrelevant materialssuch as drawings, blue prints, aerial photography, survey reports, maps and other geologic and topographical data.
- Estimate materials, equipment and labor needed to determine project costs.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplines and contractors to ensure project progress properly.
- Monitors project progress and ensures design specifications safety and engineering standards are met.
- On completion of project, inspects, repairs and maintains the structure as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required skills and abilities

- Thorough understanding of Civil engineering principles, practices and tools.
- Proficient in Structural analysis and design software likeSTAADPro and CAD tools etc
- Thorough understanding ofmaterials, methods and tools involved in the construction or repair of industrial buildings, Foundations, roads and other related structures.
- Thorough understanding ofsafety regulationsrelated to assigned projects.
- Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
- Ability to be both creative and analytical.
- Extremely detail-oriented and accurate

Profile & Eligible Criteria

- Min QualificationB.E (Civil) from prestigious institutions like NITs or eq. with min 10-15 yrs. post qualification experience.
- Candidates will have masters in engineering will be preferred.
- Should have abackground of carrying out analysis and detailed design, Bill of quantities, pertaining to Industrial Structures, Foundations, balance of plant structures or substations.
- Basic knowledge of electrical Engg. pertaining to the above systems is preferable
