Job Overview: We are looking for a friendly, professional, and passionate Receptionist - front desk to manage the front desk of our jewellery store. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in jewellery. This role requires interacting with customers, answering phone calls, and providing support to the store team while creating a welcoming and professional environment. Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Greet and welcome customers with warmth and professionalism. Attend to customer inquiries, provide guidance, and ensure a pleasant in-store experience. Use supportive and courteous language at all times. Phone and Communication Management: Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally. Provide information, redirect calls, or take messages accurately. Maintain a polite and helpful tone in all communications. Jewellery Knowledge and Assistance: Understand and provide basic information about different types of jewellery, gemstones, and collections. Assist customers in locating products and answering questions regarding jewellery features. Be passionate about jewellery and able to share that knowledge in a friendly manner. Front Desk Administration: Maintain a neat and organized reception area. Handle appointments, customer registrations, and basic administrative tasks. Support store staff with day-to-day operational needs. Professional Conduct: Be humble, approachable, and quick to respond to customer needs. Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to help at all times. Uphold the store’s image by maintaining professional behavior and appearance. Skills and Competencies: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact politely and supportively with customers of all types. Basic knowledge of different kinds of jewellery is preferred. Quick learner, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
