Role: ETL Data Analytics & Data Tool Administrator

About the Job:

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for 5+ years of SageMaker/aiOla/SparkBeyond/Rstudio/Solix/Precisely PB Administrator (often referred to as an ML Admin user role or a SageMaker ML Ops Engineer) is responsible for provisioning, managing, and maintaining the infrastructure and resources for data scientists and other users working with Amazon SageMaker

Technical Skills & Responsibilities:

· Creating SageMaker Studio domains and user profiles.

· Setting up necessary AWS services like AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) for encryption, S3 buckets for data storage, and Amazon Elastic Container Registry (Amazon ECR) for storing containers.

· Configuring and managing the underlying infrastructure like VPCs (Virtual Private Clouds) for network isolation.

· Managing users and groups within SageMaker Unified Studio, including setting up permissions and authentication.

· Exposure in any ETL tools like Talend/EMR/Airflow/DataStage/Hue/DataHub

· Exposure in any reporting tools like PowerBI / Tableau/ Cognos/ MicroStrategy/ Sigma/ QlikView

· Using SageMaker Role Manager to define persona-based roles and grant fine-grained access control.

· Federating user identities and authorization for auditing and access control.

· Setting default configurations and lifecycle scripts for users.

· Building and attaching custom images to the SageMaker Studio domain.

· Providing Service Catalog products

· Monitoring platform performance and resource usage to identify bottlenecks.

· Ensuring security and compliance controls are up-to-date.

· Collaborating with data scientists, ML engineers, and other stakeholders.

· Sharing best practices and expertise within the team.

· Managing shared accounts for ML workload development, testing, and production.

Qualification:

· Education: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Some employers may prefer a master's degree.

· Experience: Proven experience in SageMaker Studio domains and user profiles

· Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills are crucial for success in this role.
