Territory Sales Executive – AgriTech

Location: State-level field role - based in Vidarbha region (Maharashtra) Employment Type: Full-time | Field-based About the Role We are hiring Territory Sales Executives to drive on-ground adoption of Soil Spectra , a portable 2-minute soil testing device used by FPOs, agri institutions, and input dealer networks . This is a high-ownership, field-focused sales role best suited for professionals who enjoy territory work, in-person demos, and performance-linked growth. Key Responsibilities Own sales and business development for Soil Spectra within the assigned territory Identify and engage FPOs, CBBOs, agri input dealers, NGOs, and institutional partners Conduct in-person product demonstrations at FPO offices, Soil testing camps, Farmer meetings, Dealer locations Drive lead conversion through structured follow-ups and relationship building Work closely with FPO leadership and field staff to explain benefits and use cases Maintain a basic lead tracker / CRM (visits, demos, follow-ups, outcomes) Coordinate internally for demo support, documentation, and closure processes Collect market feedback, objections, and insights to support product and sales strategy Travel extensively within the assigned territory as part of daily work Who Should Apply (Ideal Profile) This role is ideal for candidates with 1–5 years of field sales experience , especially in agriculture or rural markets. Preferred backgrounds include: Sales roles in agri input companies (fertilisers, crop protection, nutrients) Field sales with irrigation, agri equipment, or hardware products Dealer / distributor sales in rural or semi-urban markets Experience working with farmers, FPOs, agri dealers, or agri institutions Key Skills & Requirements Strong comfort with field sales and regular travel Ability to conduct face-to-face demos and sales conversations Fluency in Marathi is mandatory Confidence in explaining technical products in simple terms Target-driven mindset and comfort with performance-linked incentives Basic smartphone usage (WhatsApp, Google Forms, Sheets) Self-driven, disciplined, and accountable for territory outcomes What We Offer Opportunity to work on a high-impact agri-tech hardware product Direct exposure to FPOs and institutional agri ecosystems Structured onboarding and product training Clear performance metrics and growth pathways Supportive central team for demos and closures
