Position: Network Services Lead Location: Mohali (work from office) Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 5+ Years Client: Hiring for one of our reputed MNC client Purpose of the Role The Network Services Lead will work in close collaboration with the Network Manager, Director – Technology Operations, and other key stakeholders to define the network strategy and roadmap. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of network infrastructure, operations, projects, and security across the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure that all network and unified communication technologies are aligned with evolving business needs, industry standards, and security practices. Key Responsibilities:- *Strategy & Architecture *Operations & Incident Management *Security & Compliance *Performance & Monitoring *Team Leadership & Collaboration *Vendor & Project Management Working Relationships Internal: - Business Stakeholders - Director – Technology Operations - Infrastructure & Security Teams - End User Services - Procurement External: - Vendors - Service Providers - Technology Suppliers Qualifications & Experience Education: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, NSE4, ITIL, or equivalent are required. Experience: - Extensive experience in IT and network management roles with increasing responsibility. - Proven leadership in managing multi-site, geographically distributed network infrastructures. - Deep expertise in network architecture, troubleshooting, and incident management. - Hands-on experience with high availability and resilient network design (HLD/LLD). - Certified and experienced in Cisco and Fortinet networking technologies. - Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure), SD-WAN, VPN, VoIP, and wireless infrastructure. - Strong understanding of automation and monitoring systems. - Prior experience in multi-cultural, multi-country environments is highly preferred. Technical Knowledge & Skills Technical Expertise: - Strong knowledge of L2/L3 switching, WAN optimization (BGP, MPLS, VPN), and wireless technologies. - Expertise in firewall and cloud firewall technologies (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Zscaler). - Deep understanding of network security principles and cyber defense strategies. - Proficient in network performance management and capacity planning. - Experience designing secure voice, video, and wireless architectures. Soft Skills: - Excellent communication skills; capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Strong leadership with a strategic mindset and the ability to drive innovation. - Effective at stakeholder management, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration. - Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities. - Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams.
