Job Description Responsibilities - Supporting our clients on Financial Sponsor coverage covering multiple industries including Technology, Media, Telecom, Consumer, Retail, Industrials, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Metal & Mining, Oil & Gas, among other industries - Working live with clients and managing their library of portfolio companies by tracking live entry/exit of deals - Deal comparison, PE Portfolio tracking and making respective changes in client database - Precedent deals identification; PE Strategy identification - Advanced excel and effective communication skills - Should be able to prepare and pitch books, company profiles, strip profiles, precedent transactions comps, industry study, company focused discussion documents in a particular industry. - Provide high quality analysis on projects including critical industry or market analysis, company reports, ad-hoc requests, financial analysis, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments through in-depth secondary research. - Contribute towards managing project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure high client satisfaction. - Demonstrate strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessment. Required Background - MBA/ CFA/ CA - Experience of 2-4 year supporting Investment banking division of a bank, consulting firm, boutique firm, advisory firm - The candidate should have the ability to work as part of the team and independently as per the requirement - Good written and spoken communication skills - Working knowledge of databases such as Preqin, Factset, Merger Market, etc. - MS Office skills should be good in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
