WHAT YOU DO AT AMD CHANGES EVERYTHING We care deeply about transforming lives with AMD technology to enrich our industry our communities and the world Our mission is to build great products that accelerate next-generation computing experiences - the building blocks for the data center artificial intelligence PCs gaming and embedded Underpinning our mission is the AMD culture We push the limits of innovation to solve the world s most important challenges We strive for execution excellence while being direct humble collaborative and inclusive of diverse perspectives AMD together we advance THE ROLE AMD is looking for an influential application support engineer who is passionate about owning the complete customer experience If you are someone who cares deeply about enabling customer success and thrives wearing multiple hats then this role is for you You will be a member of a core team of incredibly talented individuals working to support the latest hardware and software technologies driving the enablement of large scale AI clusters THE PERSON The ideal candidate should be passionate about customer success customer sentiment and possess technical skills to drive complex issues to resolution Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Be the technical focal point for assigned customers covering key AMD hardware and software solutions Triage troubleshoot and resolve customer reported issues Drive resolution of customer found defects with internal teams with proper validations and documentation Work with AMD s architecture specialists to improve future products Provide systems product training to customers and build a knowledge base for customer support and internal partners Build tooling to improve customer experience with deployment and operations Be part of an on-call rotation to support production systems PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Experience with working directly with end customers and driving customer success Strong fundamentals in atleast one area Datacenter Networking Routing Switching incl load balancing ECMP underlay overlay technologies GPU operations Collective Communication Libraries modern AI training contexts Kubernetes Linux Administration and Debug Scripting skills in Python Go Shell scripting LI-NS1 Benefits offered are described AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters recruitment agencies or fee-based recruitment services AMD and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity inclusive employers and will consider all applicants without regard to age ancestry color marital status medical condition mental or physical disability national origin race religion political and or third-party affiliation sex pregnancy sexual orientation gender identity military or veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law We encourage applications from all qualified candidates and will accommodate applicants needs under the respective laws throughout all stages of the recruitment and selection process
