teams within M G As a colleague within Cloud Platform Operations you will be part of a team driving M Gs Core Cloud Platform Facing off to the entire M G organisation as a central technology function we own develop and operate M Gs core cloud infrastructure supporting projects and business users to bring their workloads into the Cloud We also develop and manage key Enterprise Engineering Platforms Accountabilities ResponsibilitiesThe Role We are looking to expand our team through M G Global Services to continue to provide the highest levels of service to our end users The Platform Operations team works to high standards within our growing business by managing critical platforms running our Azure estate and supporting our engineering teams drive business value in technology The team support our UK business with extended support for Asia Pacific regions This means working flexible hours to meet our business needs Currently split across three geographies and supported by a technology partner we stand by having a one team feel and regularly collaborate and work together to meet the common goals The Platform Operations team is the centre of all things cloud The team will keep our cloud infrastructure and platforms running maintained and be empowered to improve automate and drive the future of this estate No two days are the same for our engineers in this evolving area they will be supported closely by our engineers who provide L2 and L3 support utilising their expertise to solve complex issues across a variety of technologies Our L3 engineers are skilled in everything from containers to API management Azure to OCI Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and our platform operations engineers will have opportunity work closely with them to learn a broad range of technologies Knowledge Skills Experience Educational QualificationWe always support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful in this role the following will be required Applicants must be fluent in both verbal and written English in order to communicate with our business users and stakeholders Strong Expertise in setting up ServiceNow ITOM Cloud Mgmt Event Mgmt integration with 3rd party monitoring tools Experience in configuration of IT Service Management Incident Mgmt Problem Mgmt Change Mgmt Release Mgmt Service Request Service Portal Service Catalog Asset and User Set up A deep understanding of infrastructure alerting trending of data and fine tuning to ensure incidents are created when necessary and false alerts minimised Understanding of service maps and ability to utilise them to provide meaningful data to key stakeholders Experience in configuration of CMDB Asset Mgmt Experience in creating custom processes custom 3rd party integrations and custom applications Experience in designing Technical LLD Design Documents Training Documents etc Experience in conducting Technical Reviews End User Trainings Demonstrate an awareness of Best Practices of ServiceNow implementation An understanding of cloud platforms e g Azure OCI GCP You need to be this kind of person Passionate about providing unparalleled levels of service and automation to the cloud products
