Engineering Solutions Architect

We seek a seasoned Engineering Solutions Architect with extensive expertise in rule-based automation frameworks and configuration models for Engineer-to-Order (ETO) product lines. As a key player in designing scalable solutions, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex engineering and business requirements into robust, automated configurations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex configuration models for ETO product lines using Rulestream.
  • Architect and implement rule-driven solutions that align with engineering and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Integrate Rulestream with CAD platforms (e.g., NX, Inventor, SolidWorks) and PLM systems.
  • Develop custom scripts and extensions using VB.NET, C#, or equivalent languages to enhance configurator functionality.
  • Lead solution architecture discussions and mentor junior developers in best practices for Rulestream development.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing configuration rulesets for performance, accuracy, and maintainability.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering standards, compliance, and digital governance protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering preferred).

Skills:

  • Deep expertise in Siemens Rulestream development and configuration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ETO configuration and business process automation.
  • Proficiency in VB.NET, C#, or similar programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of CAD automation and integration with engineering rulesets.
  • Experience in large-scale Rulestream implementation or upgrades.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
