Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our automotive team at Global Data in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various automotive projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple automotive projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while managing resources effectively.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, updates, and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations within the automotive sector.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- 7-12 years of experience in project management within the automotive sector.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading teams to success.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
