and the environment Major Responsibilities Member of the Process Application Support group working with the Team Lead to support SPPID PPS Fluid flow analysis applications Simulators etc Support the Team Lead in coordinating with GBU s Project s and gather Requirements Expectations for Integration and Plan Provide support Interact with End users to support troubleshoot interact with vendors resolve licensing issues etc Participates in discussions with Information Management team in terms of Monitor and ensure timely closure of Task and incidents received by the team through Service Now over e-mail or telephone Work with Software Vendors In Case of COTS and Development team in case of in-House applications Maintenance of Test Environment for Application exchanges Testing applications and participate in certification process for new versions of applications Providing training to users super-users on application as required Participate in train-the-trainer modules Support the Team Lead in technical discussions with the team for Setup Configure applications as required by the project Interaction and communication within Automation and IS T groups Corporate teams GBU Site offices FSM Functional management in local and overseas offices Maintain develop standard reporting practices Support the Triage and Root Cause Analysis exercises as and when required Interact with vendors and suppliers Amenable to working in shift operations Education and Experience Requirements BE B Tech MCA or equivalent Scientific or Engineering Degree preferably in chemical engineering with minimum 15-year experience in Engineering Application Support or equivalent IT EPC function Candidates with the following skills and 17 year experience will also be considered in lieu of Scientific or Engineering Degree Specialized courses in Automation Work Experience in similar capacity with thorough understanding of the job Required Knowledge and Skills Min 5 years of administration experience with Hexagon SmartPlant P ID SPF and SmartSketch Good understanding of Database structures and application architecture for supporting Applications Familiarity with Oracle SQL Server Access databases Good understanding of application architecture concepts and standards set-up and migration procedures Basic knowledge of hardware and operating systems including system architectures network
