Job Description

Role :

We are looking for a hands-on, experienced, and motivated Senior Tech Lead to join our dynamic Engineering team. This role will be instrumental in shaping the architecture and execution of our SaaS platform. As a technical leader, you will drive software development best practices, mentor engineers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers across backend, frontend, and DevSecOps functions.
- Participate in architectural decisions and define the technical roadmap.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards, coding best practices, and testing methodologies.
- Guide the team in adopting modern design patterns, tools, and technologies.

2. Full Stack Development

- Contribute hands-on to backend development using Java, Spring Boot.
- Lead frontend development with React.js (minimum 4 years&apos experience required).
- Drive end-to-end feature development: design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and promote clean, maintainable codebases.

3. DevSecOps Implementation

- Champion DevSecOps principles throughout the SDLC.
- Automate infrastructure deployment with Terraform, AWS CDK, etc.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.
- Implement security controls, perform vulnerability assessments, and integrate security checks into development pipelines.

4. AWS Infrastructure Management

- Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services: EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, etc.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Respond to production incidents, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure high availability.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Product Management, Design, and QA teams to align technical delivery with business goals.
- Clearly articulate technical decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous team improvement.

Qualifications:

- 8-10+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- 4+ years of experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proven experience in implementing DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, React.JS
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK).
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for learning and continuous improvement.
