Nadiad, India Oyster HR — Global Remote Team Full time

Job Opportunity: Credit Manager (Part-Time) Oyster HR — Global Remote Team At Oyster HR, we partner with leading global businesses to help them hire, manage, and empower talent anywhere in the world. Our teams operate with a “360° ownership mindset” — meaning every role goes beyond traditional boundaries to serve broader business needs with agility, intelligence, and proactive leadership. As we continue to grow our Financial Operations & Risk division, we are seeking a highly analytical, digital-first, part-time Credit Manager who is comfortable working in a dynamic, data-driven environment. This role uniquely combines traditional credit evaluation expertise with an ability to understand high-budget digital advertising activity (Google Ads & Meta Ads) — especially when assessing creditworthiness for digital-first businesses, e-commerce brands, agencies, and advertisers handling large marketing expenditures. About the Role As a Credit Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating the financial health of clients, underwriting risk, and ensuring the integrity of credit decisions. You will manage the full spectrum of credit assessment, including repayment capacity, risk exposure, portfolio quality, and compliance with internal frameworks. Unlike conventional banking credit roles, Oyster HR’s digital client base includes performance-driven companies operating substantial marketing budgets. Therefore, this position requires a strong ability to analyse: - High ad spend cycles - Digital cashflow volatility - ROAS-driven business models - Marketing-dependent revenue patterns Your insights will directly influence credit approval, risk scoring, client onboarding decisions, and long-term account stability. Key Responsibilities1. 360° Credit Assessment - Conduct complete credit evaluations for global clients across digital, agency, startup, and SME sectors. - Analyse balance sheets, cash flow, P&L, liabilities, and financial statements. - Evaluate digital business performance metrics: CAC, ROAS, ad spend efficiency, recurring revenue health, liquidity ratios, and growth projections. - Assess clients running large-scale Google Ads & Meta Ads campaigns and understand how digital marketing spend impacts credit risk. 2. Credit Underwriting & Risk Management - Prepare and approve credit appraisal notes within assigned limits. - Ensure credit decisions comply with Oyster HR’s risk standards and global regulatory expectations. - Monitor client utilisation, repayment patterns, operational risks, and covenant adherence. - Flag high-risk behaviours early and recommend mitigation strategies. 3. Portfolio & Performance Monitoring - Maintain a high-quality credit portfolio through continuous tracking and corrective actions. - Identify trends in customer behaviour, digital revenue fluctuations, or advertising ROI that may impact risk exposure. - Provide insights to leadership for improving portfolio strength and resilience. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Relationship Managers, Financial Operations, Legal, Collections, and Account Managers. - Provide financial clarity to teams working with high-budget advertising clients. - Participate in cross-team reviews to ensure clients’ financial reality aligns with their operational activities. 5. Regulatory & Process Compliance - Maintain adherence to internal credit frameworks, global compliance standards, and due diligence procedures. - Keep documentation, risk files, and financial reports up to date. - Ensure audit-readiness across all credit operations. 6. Market & Digital Ecosystem Tracking - Continuously monitor industry trends, digital business cycles, advertising cost changes (CPC/CPM), and market shifts impacting client creditworthiness. - Bring insights to leadership to refine risk models for digital-first companies. Candidate Profile — Deep Requirements We are looking for someone who is BOTH a strong credit professional AND deeply familiar with digital performance marketing economics. Required Qualifications - 3+ years experience in Credit Management / Credit Underwriting / Financial Risk Analysis - Proven experience running or analysing high-budget Google Ads & Meta Ads campaigns (USD 20,000+ monthly preferred) - Strong understanding of digital business models: subscription, e-commerce, performance marketing, and agency operations - Ability to interpret CAC, ROAS, retention curves, LTV, blended ad spend, and cashflow cycles - Advanced analytical skills with the ability to read balance sheets, cash-flow statements, revenue breakdowns, and digital metrics - Excellent English communication — both written and verbal - Strong understanding of global risk guidelines and due-diligence practices - Ability to work independently, remotely, and adapt to multiple time zones Preferred Qualifications - Experience in fintech, HR tech, digital advertising, or e-commerce finance - Exposure to underwriting global clients - Ability to identify fraud signals, credit anomalies, and unusual spend patterns - High competency with financial software, spreadsheets, dashboards, and analytics tools (GA4, Ads Manager reporting, Looker, etc.) Work Environment & Benefits - Part-time remote work (flexible hours) - Global team culture with high autonomy - Opportunity to influence credit decisions across worldwide clients - Competitive compensation based on experience - Fast-growing environment with significant room for career advancement - Direct exposure to cutting-edge digital businesses Join Oyster HR If you want a role that blends financial intelligence, digital marketing expertise, and global client evaluation, this is your opportunity. Ready to contribute to a future-focused credit ecosystem? - Apply now and help shape the next generation of global workforce financial operations.
