Job Title: Financial AssociateCTAP is a growing consulting organization that specializes in helping technology and media enterprises prepare submissions for government grants and tax credits.We are committed to providing our team with opportunities to advance their careers.The position involves collecting and validating general ledgers, invoices, payroll journals, contracts, and other accounting and financial records from clients.Responsibilities include preparing accurate cost reports using existing Microsoft Excel templates, reviewing and validating cost reports prepared by other team members, and preparing tax credit and grant forms.Additionally, the successful candidate will review tax credit filings prepared by accountants for accuracy and consistency, assist management with collecting government grant information, and create financial reports using Microsoft Excel.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 2-year work experience in a similar business management positionExcellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to solicit the right information from clientsExcellent attention to details and the ability to spot inconsistencies and inaccuraciesHigh Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelQuick learner – ability to understand business process planning, implementation, and trackingGood organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same timeOutgoing, positive, proactive, and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independentlyAdditional preferred skills include business writing skills, experience with consulting services type of business, eagerness to learn new skills and competencies, knowledge of French language, and knowledge of social media platforms.
