About the role: Facilitators in the IGCSE framework are responsible for delivering subject-specific instruction, supporting students, and ensuring their readiness for Cambridge International Examinations or equivalent assessments. What You Will Be Doing - Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IGCSE syllabus and Cambridge guidelines. - Use diverse teaching strategies to develop analytical and critical thinking in students. - Design internal assessments and projects as per IGCSE standards. - Prepare students for IGCSE board examinations through formative and summative assessments. - Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic progress. - Ensure subject knowledge is up to date with the latest syllabus updates. - Use practical examples and resources to contextualize theoretical concepts. - Create an inclusive and disciplined environment for optimal learning. - Adapt teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning abilities. - Support students in subject-related extracurricular activities such as debates, science fairs, or writing competitions. - Encourage participation in skill-enhancing workshops. - Incorporate educational tools and resources, such as Cambridge online platforms, to enhance learning. - Facilitate blended or online learning environments when necessary. - Attend Cambridge training workshops and conferences to stay updated on curriculum changes. - Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources. Who we are looking for: EDUCATION: Bachelor's or master's degree in the relevant subject. Preferred IGCSE Certificate Or Its Equivalent Experience teaching IGCSE or similar international curricula is preferred. Position Requirements In-depth understanding of IB philosophy and teaching methodology. Excellent research and inquiry-based teaching skills. Strong mentoring and guidance skills. Proficiency in global and intercultural approaches to education.
